Our mission
AMRTP's main mission is to ensure the harmonious development of the telecommunications, ICT and postal sectors in Mali. It oversees the protection of consumer rights, compliance with fair competition rules between operators, and the quality of services offered to users.

Under Law No. 2011-084/AN-RM of 30 December 2011, AMRTP is vested with the following powers:
- Issue and manage authorizations, licenses and declarations for operators
- Monitor compliance with operator obligations and competition rules
- Protect the rights and interests of communication service users
- Regulate pricing of electronic communications services
- Manage and monitor the use of the radio frequency spectrum
- Produce studies, statistics and publications on the telecom sector
- Arbitrate disputes between operators and between operators and users
